    A fun­da­men­tal role present in this pro­pos­al is the con­nec­tion with INCOSE, the Inter­na­tion­al Coun­cil on Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing, involved as AISE-INCOSE as asso­ci­at­ed part­ner.  The main role of this asso­ciate part­ner is to enhance the con­nec­tion with enter­pris­es and sim­i­lar train­ing ini­tia­tives at inter­na­tion­al lev­el, and to dis­sem­i­nate the EMSSE results as train­ing guidelines.

    AISE-INCOSE is the body that rep­re­sents the Ital­ian Chap­ter of the Inter­na­tion­al Coun­cil on Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing. INCOSE is a not-for-prof­it mem­ber­ship orga­ni­za­tion found­ed to devel­op and dis­sem­i­nate the inter­dis­ci­pli­nary prin­ci­ples and prac­tices that enable the real­iza­tion of suc­cess­ful sys­tems. INCOSE is designed to con­nect SE pro­fes­sion­als with edu­ca­tion­al, net­work­ing, and career-advance­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties in the inter­est of devel­op­ing the glob­al com­mu­ni­ty of sys­tems engi­neers and sys­tems approach­es to prob­lems. INCOSE is also focused on pro­duc­ing state-of-the-art work prod­ucts that sup­port and enhance this dis­ci­pline vis­i­bil­i­ty in the world.

    Ikerlan

    IKERLAN is a lead­ing knowl­edge trans­fer tech­no­log­i­cal cen­tre pro­vid­ing com­pet­i­tive val­ue to com­pa­nies in three tech­no­log­i­cal spe­cial­i­sa­tion units: Elec­tron­ics, infor­ma­tion and com­mu­ni­ca­tion tech­nolo­gies, Ener­gy and pow­er elec­tron­ics and Advanced man­u­fac­tur­ing (https://www.ikerlan.es/). Every year, the com­pa­ny offers paid intern­ships to devel­op final mas­ter projects at their facil­i­ties. Iker­lan is an offi­cial and indus­tri­al part­ner of EMSSE.

    Savoye

    Savoye is an offi­cial asso­ci­at­ed and indus­tri­al part­ner of EMSSE. It is an inter­na­tion­al com­pa­ny pro­vid­ing Smart Sup­ply chain solu­tions. They have put in the cen­tre of their activ­i­ties Robot­ic and Automa­tion in ser­vice of logis­tics. (www.savoye.com/en/)

    INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS

    Renault

    Renault is one of the old­est and largest car man­u­fac­tur­ers in the world. Renault has been mak­ing cars since 1898, is present in 134 coun­tries and has sold 3.9 mil­lion vehi­cles in 2018. To meet the major tech­no­log­i­cal chal­lenges of the future, the Renault group is very active in R&D and inno­va­tion. The Renault group has col­lab­o­rat­ed with Heudi­asyc lab­o­ra­to­ry, a joint UTC/CNRS research lab­o­ra­to­ry, almost since its cre­ation in 1981. Its con­nec­tion to the aca­d­e­m­ic world took an even deep­er turn in March 2017, when Renault and Heudi­asyc cre­at­ed SIVAL­ab, a joint lab­o­ra­to­ry spe­cial­iz­ing in local­iza­tion and per­cep­tion sys­tems for autonomous vehi­cles. SIVAL­ab is intend­ed to har­ness the poten­tial of Heudiasyc’s autonomous vehi­cle plat­forms devel­oped around the elec­tric car Renault ZOE.

    CEA

    The French Alter­na­tive Ener­gies and Atom­ic Ener­gy Com­mis­sion (CEA) is a key play­er in research, devel­op­ment and inno­va­tion in four main areas: defence and secu­ri­ty, low car­bon ener­gies (nuclear and renew­able ener­gies), tech­no­log­i­cal research for indus­try, fun­da­men­tal research in the phys­i­cal sci­ences and life sci­ences.​ There are more than 20.500 employ­ees, 222 star­tups, 720 active patents, etc (www.cea.fr).

    Orange

    Orange is one of the largest com­pa­nies in Europe in telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions and ser­vices. There is a long col­lab­o­ra­tion between Orange and UTC, a great num­ber of intern­ships and about 12 PhD are fruit of this cooperation.

    Saint Gobain

    Saint Gob­ain, one of the major com­pa­nies in light and sus­tain­able con­struc­tion already installed in Alba­nia, has expressed its inter­est in par­tic­i­pat­ing in EMSSE pro­gram. Saint-Gob­ain is the first found­ing indus­tri­al mem­ber of Part­ne­r­i­al Foun­da­tion of UTC. Saint-Gob­ain designs, pro­duces and dis­trib­utes mate­ri­als and solu­tions that improve every­one’s com­fort and thus meet the expec­ta­tions of a con­stant­ly chang­ing world.

    Voltalia

    Voltalia is a French com­pa­ny spe­cial­ized in renew­able ener­gy solu­tions for the glob­al ener­gy and eco­log­i­cal tran­si­tion move­ment. Voltalia has grown to become an inter­na­tion­al Ener­gy Pro­duc­er and Ser­vice Provider. Voltalia is present in Alba­nia with a very large Pho­to­voltaique Parc (www.voltalia.com.)

    Delmon group

    Del­mon group is spe­cial­ized in man­u­fac­tur­ing for auto­mo­tive, Aero­space, Defense, Rail­way, Defense and Ener­gy sec­tors. It is implant­ed in Elbasan, Alba­nia with a new man­u­fac­tur­ing plant in 2018 in order to pro­pose “best costs” solu­tions (www.delmon-group.com).

    Leonardo

    Leonar­do is an Ital­ian com­pa­ny that has implant­ed a nation­al hub in Genoa ded­i­cat­ed to the dig­i­tal­i­sa­tion of Ital­ian indus­try. The Hub’s main capa­bil­i­ties include High Per­for­mance Com­put­ing, Cloud, big data, Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence, cyber secu­ri­ty and cyber resilience, and robotics.
