    2024–2026 schedule

    Below are the gen­er­al dates of the EMSSE cal­en­dar. Local cal­en­dars for M1S1 and M2S1 are giv­en by each university.

    M1S2 schedule

    The sec­ond semes­ter (M1S2) will take place in UPT from March 3rd to June 30th 2025, fol­low­ing which all EMSSE stu­dents will par­tic­i­pate in the SOSE con­fer­ence from June 8th to 11th in Tirana, for which they have been registered.

    They will con­tin­ue with the sum­mer school from 11th to 14th June.

    This will involve EMSSE indus­tri­al part­ners (Renault: Javier Ibanez, CEA: Stéphane Louise, INCOSE: Alfre­do Garo) who will deliv­er lec­tures and take part in activities.

    The exam ses­sion will occur dur­ing the last two weeks of June.

    The ori­en­ta­tion week will include webi­na­rs held by the mas­ter’s pro­gramme, with the par­tic­i­pa­tion of an exter­nal speaker:

    Wednes­day 5th March, 11:00 — From math­e­mat­ics to quan­tum com­put­ing

    The pre­sen­ta­tion traces the evo­lu­tion of math­e­mat­ics from ancient civ­i­liza­tions to mod­ern com­put­ing, high­light­ing key con­tri­bu­tions in log­ic, algo­rithms, and ear­ly com­put­ing machines. It con­cludes with an intro­duc­tion to quan­tum com­put­ing, its advan­tages over clas­si­cal com­put­ing, and the chal­lenges it faces.
